One of the simplest tricks is to give cables a defined path using cable raceways or trunking that matches your wall colour or skirting. These slim channels stick to the wall and allow wires from the TV, router, and speakers to run neatly instead of dangling like vines. Once painted or colour-matched, they almost disappear visually.
Behind the TV unit, use cable ties or Velcro straps to bundle cords together instead of letting each one snake out on its own. A small box or cable organizer can hide power strips while still keeping them accessible.
Even just deciding that all devices plug in at one or two specific spots, instead of random sockets around the room, reduces cable chaos a lot. The living room instantly feels more organised when the eye isn’t constantly catching black wires cutting across light walls.
